MLCCC Programs
The Main Line Chinese Culture Center (MLCCC) offers a variety of convenient choices
for a family to gain insights on China. During the academic school year, the center
provides a robust offering of cultural classes on Sundays from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
In particular, the Center rents rooms at the modern Great Valley High School, which
is conveniently located near many Main Line families.
During the summer, MLCCC offers a Chinese immersion summer camp. This camp is designed
to broaden children's understanding and appreciation of Chinese language, culture,
history, arts and customs. As a Chinese immersion day camp, the center provides
many fun activities including mandarin language, culture lessons, songs, dance,
drawing, crafts, games, karate, as well as physical education.
For those families who live closer to the city, the MLCCC recently opened its China
Learning program at the nationally recognized Russell Byers Charter School. Taking
place on Saturdays from 9:00am to noon, this innovative program is expected to be
offered again in October 2009 for its youth stakeholders.
In addition, companies and other non-profits have reached out to MLCCC administrative
members regarding guidance on cultural competency matters. For more information,
please email us at info@mlccc.org.
Finally, the MLCCC has purposely reached out to a variety of diverse Pennsylvania
stakeholder groups who might be interested in learning more about the non-profit.
