In November 2008, the MLCCC received a grant from the Shirley and Morrison C. Boyd
Fund of The Philadelphia Foundation. Part of the funding has been used to build
a formal Board of Directors. The volunteer group represents a number of Greater
Philadelphia community members who come from diverse backgrounds but share common
excellence in terms of business and academic profiles.
