MLCCC Mid-Autumn Chinese Music Festival
Chinese instruments, music filled the
American Revolution Center
on Oct. 6, one of the last opportunities for the public to enjoy this historical
landmark before it undergoes major renovation, as part of the second annual Mid-Autumn
Chinese Music Festival.
Presented by the
Main Line Chinese Culture Center,
which aims to build a stronger Philadelphia through inclusive and dynamic Chinese
language and culture education, the festival will feature more than an hour of multi-media
entertainment, including two hour-long musical program that celebrates Chinese culture's
Moon Festival and China's ties to Philadelphia.

music teacher Steve Cheng, who has an extensive background in music education and
promotion that includes work at one of China's most prestigious colleges, Tsinghua
University, created the program for the event, which ran from 6-9 p.m.
