Rave Reviews From Parents
The 4 classes below all received very positive feedback
from parents and students on the first day. All of them still have space. Why not
enroll and enjoy the class!
武术课 (Chinese Martial Arts Class):
At least 4 parents came over to us and said that the Wushu class is really good.
One child who always refused to go to our Karate class, loved this class after the
first try. The teacher, Mr. Valentino Rudi, has been teaching younger and older
children for many years. He is planning to teach 少林拳 (Shaolin Fist) first, then
棍拳 (with a staff), then 扇拳 (with a fan). At the bottom of this section is his background.
Chinese Public Speaking Class:
We have a new teacher for this class this school year, Ms. Wenny Ou. She was recommended
by our resident teacher Ms. Cheryl Wang, who is on leave for several months. Again,
parents approached us to tell us what a wonderful teacher Ms. Ou is.
Calligraphy and MATHCOUNTS Class:
There is no teacher change here but both teachers of these two classes received
great feedback from their students or students’ parents (“my son really enjoyed
the class”)
Speaking of feedback, if you have any, whether positive or negative, we would love
to hear it. It either makes our day or helps us improve!
武术老师 Wushu teacher Valentino Rudi’s background:
Valentino has studied Chinese martial arts for over 20 years. He first studied Hun
Quan (Hung Gar) as a child and later became a student of Tai Chi and Wushu under
various teachers including Zhang Xichuan Shifu, Ma Yuen Shifu, Ma Chau Shifu, Chen
Peng Fe, Bai Wenxiang Shifu and more…..
Valentino is a dedicated student of Zhao Changjun Shifu (赵长军-曾任陕西省武术总队总教练), who
has promoted Valentino to Wushu Coach and calls Valentino “A young Shifu”. Under
Zhao Changjun, Valentino has studied various Wushu forms both external and internal
systems including, Shaolin Quan, Hu Quan, Gun Ze, Fan, whip chain. Guan Dao, Cha
Quan, Funzi Quan, Pi Gua, Hsing I Quan, Ba Gua, Tai Chi and more including Jian
and Ji ben gong (Foundation training).
Valentino has won a gold and bronze in Wushu competitions and has earned the title
as a wushu judge for competition and testing with the approval of Zhao Changjun
and Wu Bing (Jet Li’s Shifu)
Valentino is a graduate of theater and film from Temple University and has appeared
in several films and stage as a martial arts fighter. Valentino is also a screenplay
writer and actor.
