2. 诗艺之星—全美青少年华文诗词插画大赛 - US Youth Chinese Poetry Illustration Contest

   由天心艺术生活学社(Ecoheart Art Society) 、美华文学(Meihua Literati) 主办，北加州中文学校联合会参与协办的〈诗艺之星—全美青少年华文诗词插画大赛(US Youth Chinese Poetry Illustration Contest)〉活动已揭开序幕，目前正在接受报名中。此次比赛的主题是: 我最爱的唐诗300首。
   
   参赛方法十方简单，奖励方式又相当丰富，绝对值得让孩子们一试。参赛者只需从唐诗300首一书中，挑选出一首自己最喜爱的诗，绘制一幅可阐述自己对此首诗的理解和感受的插画，再把插画拍照，电邮至大会收件邮箱即可info.ecoheartsociety@yahoo.com。
   
   随信附上中、英双语比赛作品制作方法及送件说明，以及活动比赛奖励方式、报名表等材料。如需要了解更多活动相关详情，欢迎随时与我们联系，或至活动脸书和网站查看。

3. Successful 2015 Sino-American Business Development and Culture Exchange Summit
   ABD International, LLC (MLCCC's partner) together with Chester County Commissioner Terence Farrell and Chester County Economic Development Council, hosted the 2015 Sino-American Business Development and Culture Exchange Summit on November 19th, 2015.
   
   A delegation from China, Chongqing City and District governments, attended the Summit.
   
   Chester County Commissioner Terence Farrell and other county dignitaries, Chester County based companies, educational institutes, including West Chester University, and MLCCC attended the Summit.

5. 1st Donation From Amazon.com Received
   We received our first donation from Amazon.com of $16.31! When you think about it, to get this $16.31, our community bought $3,262 worth of merchandise from Amazon! Therefore this donation amount is quite amazing. Through smile.amazon.com, Amazon donates 0.5% of amount purchased to MLCCC, so 0.5% of $3,262 is $16.31. Thank you to everyone who purchased! Every little bit helps, especially when it is at absolutely no cost to you.
   
   Whenever you buy from Amazon, please support us by buying via their charity portal smile.amazon.com and choosing "Main Line Chinese Culture Center" as your charity. You only need to choose the charity once, then every subsequent time, use smile.amazon.com. smile.amazon.com has the same price as amazon.com, but Amazon will donate 0.5% of your purchase to MLCCC, at no cost to you.
   
   
6. Parent Basketball Shooting Game Will Run NEXT Sunday at 3pm
   Come and join this fun activity with other parents. Shoot ten balls and the top 3 highest scorers will be rewarded 20, 10, and 5 school dollars. All other shooters will be given 2 school dollars for participation as well. Show up at the gym NEXT Sunday at 3pm!
   
   
7. Giant Gift Card for Sale to Support PTO
   Our MLCCC PTO has partnered with Giant Supermarket to sell their gift cards. For every $20 of Giant gift card that we sell, our PTO gets $1 from Giant. You get the exact $$ amount of Giant gift cards that you pay for, while PTO earns its funding from Giant to benefit our MLCCC community. If you are thinking of holiday gift cards to the teachers, bus drivers, mailman, etc, please consider buying Giant gift cards from our PTO, which directly helps to support all the PTO activities! The card has a flex amount from $5-$300 to meet all of your needs.
