Dear Parents,
Hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather. Our school will run this Sunday December
13, and the following Sunday December 20. Then our school closes on December 27
and January 3 for Christmas and New Year’s.

Game This Sunday at 3pm in Gym
Come and join this fun activity with other parents.
Shoot ten balls and the top 3 highest scorers will be rewarded 20, 10, and 5 school
dollars. All other shooters will be given 2 school dollars for participation as
well. Come to the gym this Sunday at 3pm!

Village Food Sale This Sunday
Popular 虹成 King’s Village food is back again this Sunday.
It saves you effort for Sunday dinner or Monday breakfast or just some afternoon
snacks. Stop by with an appetite and funds!
- Chinese Style Gifts (Such
as Greeting Cards, Red Envelopes, Pencils, and Ties) on Sale This Sunday
The school has purchased some beautiful Chinese styled
holiday gifts and they will be on sale this Sunday. If you are looking for something
unique, for example, for your children's teacher or your mailman, etc, consider
buying one or two of these gifts. These gifts are:
Various New Year Greeting Cards With Dragons or other Chinese patterns ($1.5-$3)
Pack of Red Envelopes ($1.5)
Pencils with Dragon prints ($0.25)
Silk Ties with Dragon prints ($12)
Children's Panda Hats ($16.50)
- Chinese Speech Contest Will
Be Postponed
We had tentatively scheduled our own Chinese Speech
Contest for Sunday December 20, in anticipation of Nature Soy’s annual Chinese Speech
Contest of Greater Philadelphia, since winners of our own contest compete in Nature
Soy’s soon after. However so far there has been no news from Nature Soy so we will
postpone our own Speech Contest.

School Union 2016 New Year Gala - 1/9/2016 7pm
Date and Time: 1/9/2016, 7pm
Location: Upper Merion High School Auditorium, 435 Crossfield Road, King of Prussia,
PA 19406.
Our beautiful MLCCC dance troupes (Children’s and Adults’) will bring 2 dances to
this event. We have purchased 100 tickets for the parents of our dancers. After
give the tickets to the parents and family members of our dancers, we might have
some left. If you would like to go, please check with Vice Principal Mr. Qunbin
Xiong to see if there are any extra tickets (qbxiong@yahoo.com).

由天心艺术生活学社(Ecoheart Art Society) 、美华文学(Meihua Literati) 主办，北加州中文学校联合会参与协办的〈诗艺之星—全美青少年华文诗词插画大赛(US Youth
Chinese Poetry Illustration Contest)〉活动已揭开序幕，目前正在接受报名中。此次比赛的主题是:
我最爱的唐诗300首。
参赛方法十方简单，奖励方式又相当丰富，绝对值得让孩子们一试。参赛者只需从唐诗300首一书中，挑选出一首自己最喜爱的诗，绘制一幅可阐述自己对此首诗的理解和感受的插画，再把插画拍照，电邮至大会收件邮箱即可info.ecoheartsociety@yahoo.com。
