MLCCC Newsletter (2015-09-25)
Dear Parents,
This Sunday September 27 is an exciting day. For Chinese culture lovers, this Sunday
is 中秋节 the Mid-Autumn Festival! For natural phenomenon enthusiasts, the very rare
“Supermoon lunar eclipse” will also occur this Sunday. Both events revolve around
the moon, which inspires us and makes us ponder... Best wishes to everyone for a
warm Mid-Autumn Festival with family and friends!
We also hope that everyone stays safe and sound amidst the traffic of the papal
visit. As of now, we plan to open our school this Sunday as usual. If anything changes,
we will post on our website asap,
www.mlccc.org.

- Parent on Duty Sign Up Needed
Many thanks to those supporting parents who signed up
for Parent on Duty last week! We strongly hope that every family will take ownership
of its role in our community and treat this sign up as a responsibility to fulfill
by signing up three times during the school year. Main responsibilities include
ringing the bell, supervising the school store, maintaining hallway safety, helping
with school activities, all to benefit our children!
- Class TAs Needed
We need high school volunteers to act as teacher’s assistants
in Montessori PreK, Montessori K, and CHL K classes during the school year. If your
high school student can help, please reply to this email. We will give community
