A big “Thank You” to everyone who helped out with our very successful Halloween Trick-or-Treating last Sunday!! The candy donors were so generous and the volunteers had such good eyes for decorating: the lights, the goodies, were all arranged so beautifully!!

1. PTO Sponsored 虹成 King's Village Food Sale This Sunday
   If you have pre-ordered food online from King’s Village last week, don't forget to pick up your items. If you didn't pre-order, no worries, they are bringing in your favorites with more variety this week. So Sunday dinner is on its way!
   
   
2. Parking Limitation This Sunday
   There is a large Lacrosse Tournament taking place at the same time on the Athletic Fields of the Campus as our group is here. The Great Valley School District has reserved the back parking lot for us. See the chart. The parking lot is marked with a X inside of a circle.
   
   
3. MLCCC Lion Dance Team Practice at 4pm - Everyone is Welcome!
   Our Lion Dance team started the practice last Sunday. It will continue this Sunday at 4pm. It is not too late to join. You do not to be there every Sunday. Just come when you can. Our goal is to practice a routine so we can have something traditional and unique for our children during the Chinese New Year Gala. Everyone is welcome! we can promise that it is fun and good exercise too!
   
   
4. Chinese Classes - End Of Term Review This Week and Test Next Week
   All Chinese language classes (except PreK and K) will start review this week. The next week, the students will have their end of fall term test. Please remind and help your child to review.
   
   
5. Chinese Martial Art Students - Need to Buy Either Staff or Fan
   Mr. Valentino Rudi has assigned you to either staff or fan. Please remember to pay the money to Mr. Rudi this week and he will bring your staff or fan to you! You will be learning them very soon. Staff is $25 and Fan is $15.

   时间地点：2015年11月11日11:00， 华埠安乐楼
   1、 年龄50岁以上或行动不便之中国籍公民；
   2、 中国护照已过期或有效期不足一年，或签证页已用完；
   
   请符合以上条件者事先在线预约（网址：http://ppt.mfa.gov.cn/appo/）， 并（一）填写《中华人民共和国护照/旅行证/回国证明申请表》1份、（二）近期（半年内）正面免冠彩色半身证件照片（光面相纸）4张（照片标准：尺寸为 48mmx33mm，头部宽15mm-22mm、长28mm-33mm，背景为白色）、（三）护照原件及复印件（包括带照片资料页、曾办理过加注或延期 页、来美签证相关页、最后一次离开中国的出境验讫章及入境美国的入境验讫章页）；换发新护照后，原护照将被注销并退还申请人；（四） 在美居留或其他国家的居留证件或签证原件和复印件。

3. Chinese American Adolescent Participants Wanted for a Study at UPenn
   
   Good morning!
   
   My name is Cheryl Li and I am a graduate student working with Dr. Chen at University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. I am reaching out for Chinese American children aged from 9-13 to participate in a study concerning children's social interactions and adjustment. Essentially, we are interested in peer interactions and social and psychological adjustment of Chinese American children and their friends. We are also interested in exploring how different factors such as social and life experiences, parenting styles, cultural values are associated with social adjustment and psychological well-being of children. We believe that it will be a valuable experience for both children and their parents as they might gain a deeper insight into children's development from the participation.
