The LIVE broadcast of the game on our TV in the hallway also worked really well and had the first group of audience. Thank you to our Video Club! The event is also posted on our MLCCC WeChat Public here and unforgettable photos are for public view here.
MLCCC Becomes Able to Bestow the President’s Volunteer Service Award!
We are pleased to announce that MLCCC has been approved as an official Certifying Organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA). The PVSA is the premier volunteer awards program, encouraging citizens to live a life of service through presidential gratitude and national recognition. You may have seen your child’s regular schools bestow this award on their students. MLCCC is honored to be recognized by the PVSA to be able to bestow this prestigious award onto our volunteers.
The PVSA recognizes U.S. citizens and lawfully admitted, permanent residents of the U.S. who have achieved the required number of hours of service over a 12-month time period or cumulative hours over the course of a lifetime. Presidential recognition sets one apart from one’s peers. It is a tremendous honor. Please see their website linked below or the attached for more info on the PVSA.

- End of School Year Exam This Sunday in Language Classes
Good luck to all of our language students. If your class is having a party, please clean up the classroom afterward.
- Annual Students’ Artwork Exhibit
Both of our Drawing Teachers, Ms. Corina Wang and Mr. Dahong Zhang, have supplied the photos of their students’ artworks and we have compiled them into different groups/classes.
This year we will use a new platform to display our students’ artworks: Online Art Exhibit (photo albums). By using this online format, we can display more students’ artworks without the need to frame, tape to walls, and remove afterward. Also, we can share their artworks with a much wider audience, such as all the students and parents and grandparents of our school (instead of just those who are at school), so they can all enjoy the many more creations of our students throughout the year, from anywhere.
With respect to judging, to speed up the process and the objectivity of the artwork contest, this year, our drawing class teachers will select the top performers in each class/age group. Those top performers will be notified and recognized at the School Assembly next week on May 20.
